Senior year has a way of marking both an ending and a beginning, and this session captured that perfectly. I recently photographed two Keller High School baseball players who have spent years playing side by side. As best friends and teammates, it only made sense for them to document this season together.

We started their session on the baseball field at Keller High School, a place that holds so many memories for both of them. From early practices to game nights under the lights, this field has been a big part of their story. Photographing them here added a level of meaning that you just cannot recreate anywhere else. Their connection made everything feel natural and easy, and it showed in every frame.

After the field, we headed over to Keller Town Hall for a completely different look. The clean architecture and open spaces gave us a more polished backdrop to balance the grit and texture of the baseball field. Having both locations allowed us to create a well rounded gallery that reflects who they are right now and where they are headed next.

Because they had a banquet to attend that evening, we scheduled their session earlier in the day. That meant working with strong Texas sun instead of the softer light I typically prefer. While midday light can be challenging, it is absolutely possible to create beautiful images with the right approach. We leaned into shaded areas when needed, positioned them carefully, and used the light to highlight their features in a bold, dynamic way. The result was a set of images that feel strong, confident, and true to this season of life.

Senior sessions like this are about more than just a milestone. They are about preserving the relationships, the accomplishments, and the feeling of this chapter before everything changes.
