The Process

Step one: Let's Connect


  • Begin by requesting a phone call through my contact page. During our brief 15-minute call, we’ll talk through your vision, answer any initial questions, and make sure we’re a great fit before scheduling your in-person consultation.

Step two: In-Home Consultation


  • I’ll visit your home for a relaxed, personalized consultation. We’ll walk through your space, explore artwork options that will complement your home, and thoughtfully plan a session that reflects your family and style. During this visit, we’ll review product pricing and reserve your session with the creation fee.

Step three: Your Session


  • On session day, we’ll meet at the location we planned, and I’ll guide you through a relaxed, intentional session designed to create beautiful images for custom artwork in your home.

Step Four: In-Person Reveal & Ordering


  • We’ll meet in your home to view your images for the first time. I’ll help you select your favorite portraits and design custom artwork for your walls. Orders are placed during this appointment.

Step Five: Artwork Delivery


  • In approximately 4–6 weeks, we’ll schedule a delivery appointment for me to personally bring your finished artwork to your home and ensure everything is just right.

How do I book a session?


I believe the best experiences start with a conversation. To begin, you’ll request a short phone call so we can connect, talk through your vision, and ensure we’re the right fit. From there, we’ll meet in person for a consultation where we’ll plan your session in detail and select a date that works perfectly for your family.

What is your cancellation policy?

Once your session is scheduled, your creation fee reserves your date and allows me to begin preparing for your experience. For that reason, the creation fee is non-refundable. Should something unexpected come up, I’m happy to work with you to reschedule when possible.

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?

I offer a curated selection of signature locations that I’ve carefully scouted for beautiful scenery and the best possible light, especially during golden hour. Knowing these locations intimately allows me to create consistent, flattering images while keeping your experience relaxed and seamless.

In-home sessions are also available for families who love a more personal, lifestyle approach.

If you have a different location in mind, I’m happy to consider it. Additional fees may apply to cover travel time, mileage, or any location or permit fees required.


How long does a typical photo session last?

The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type and scope of the project. Senior portrait sessions typically range from 1 to 2 hours, while family sessions can be done in 30-45 minutes. I strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.

How long does it take to receive my finished artwork?

About 1–2 weeks after your session, we’ll meet in person for your ordering appointment where you’ll view your images and select your artwork. Once your order is placed, your finished pieces are carefully produced through my professional lab.

Most artwork is ready for hand delivery within 4–6 weeks after your ordering appointment.


What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I do my best to be flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.

Rather than simply delivering digital images, I guide you through every step; planning your session, styling your family, and helping you select and display your images as custom artwork in your home. Do you offer Digital Files?

I do offer digital files, but they are thoughtfully paired with your artwork purchases. For every images you choose for print or display, you'll also receive a web-sized digital file to share with your family and friends. This ensures your images are both beautifully preserved in your home and easy to enjoy digitally.
