This past Thursday, I had the joy of photographing a beautiful family as they await the arrival of their newest little one. We met at a serene lakeside spot, with golden light dancing across the water and a gentle breeze whispering through the trees.
It may have been hot and humid (welcome to Texas summers!), and their sweet toddler had other plans for the morning that didn’t exactly involve posing for photos—but that’s the beauty of family sessions. Real moments. Giggles in between the wriggles. Snuggles when no one is looking.
With a little patience and a few silly tricks we captured the perfect mix of tender maternity portraits, joyful family moments, and candid toddler expressions that they’ll treasure for years.
