Some weddings just keep you on your toes from the very beginning.
This sweet couple might look familiar because I had the honor of photographing their engagement session back in March. From the start, their connection was effortless and genuine, and their wedding day reflected that in every way.
Saturday morning in Fort Worth brought steady rain, the kind that makes you refresh the weather app more times than you want to admit. It had been raining all morning, and like any outdoor wedding day, there were a few nervous glances at the sky.
But then something shifted... THANK GOODNESS!
By the afternoon, the rain cleared, the clouds softened, and the sun slowly began to peek through. What could have felt stressful turned into something incredibly beautiful. The kind of light you cannot plan for, soft, glowy, and perfect for a backyard celebration.
Their wedding took place in an intimate backyard setting, surrounded by the people who matter most. It was simple in the best way. Thoughtful. Personal. Full of emotion.
As a natural light photographer, these are the moments I look for. The ones that feel real. The ones that take you right back to how the day actually felt, not just how it looked.
From their engagement session to their wedding day, it has been such a joy to document this season of their lives. Watching their story unfold from anticipation to “I do” is always an honor I do not take lightly.
If you are planning a wedding or an intimate event here in Keller, Fort Worth, or the surrounding DFW area and want your day captured in a way that feels natural, connected, and true to you, I would love to be a part of it.
