There is something so special about golden hour sessions at this park in Fort Worth, but this one? This one felt like a scene straight out of my favorite movie, The Princess Bride.


From the very beginning, it was clear that their love story is equal parts timeless romance and joyful adventure. They laughed easily, held each other close, and moved through the evening like no one else existed. The way he looked at her, completely steady, completely certain, felt like something out of a storybook.


And then… the best supporting cast arrived!


Their two sweet dogs joined us for part of the session, and it could not have been more perfect. I absolutely love the idea of including the ones who have walked alongside you during your dating years. They ran through the grass, sat proudly at their feet, and gave us the most heart-melting moments.


As the sun dipped lower, the light turned soft and golden. Her dress caught the breeze. The tall grasses swayed. It truly felt like we had stepped into a romantic countryside scene: dramatic, cinematic, and just a little bit magical. I half expected someone to say, “As you wish.”


What I love most about engagement sessions is that they freeze this in-between season. The anticipation. The excitement. The dreaming. It’s the chapter right before “I do,” and it deserves to be remembered beautifully.


I already know their spring wedding is going to be unforgettable. If this session was any indication, it will be filled with intention, laughter, and so much love. I cannot wait to capture every moment.
