There’s something beautiful about photographing a family in the comfort of their own home. My most recent newborn session took place in a cozy apartment, with natural light streaming in through the windows of just two rooms. It was simple, relaxed, and full of love, exactly what lifestyle photography is all about.
Big brother kept things lively, running, bouncing, and wiggling his way through the session. Toddlers have a way of keeping us on our toes, and I love how their energy brings so much realness and personality to the photos. Those playful, unscripted moments are often the ones families treasure most.
Baby sister, on the other hand, was wide awake most of the time... and she did amazing! Many parents think a newborn needs to be asleep for photos, but some of the sweetest images happen when babies are alert, those little eyes staring up, taking in their brand-new world.
This session was a reminder that you don’t need a big house or a perfectly decorated nursery to create meaningful images. With a little natural light and a lot of love, we can capture memories that truly reflect your family’s story.
