My final session of the year couldn’t have been a more perfect way to wrap things up. I was able to squeeze in a last-minute family session in Colleyville, Texas for a dear friend, her husband, and their three sweet girls, and it truly felt like the best kind of full-circle moment.


This family is always on the go and spends a lot of their time at the soccer fields. With Dad coaching his daughter’s team, soccer is a big part of their everyday life, so it only felt right to include a soccer ball in a few of their images. I love when families bring elements that reflect who they are right now. These little details help tell a more meaningful story and make their portraits feel personal instead of posed or generic.


The girls brought so much personality to the session. There was laughter, movement, and just the right amount of playful chaos that naturally happens when you have three little kiddos together. Those are often my favorite sessions, the ones that feel real and full of life, because that is what families want to remember years from now.


Ending the year with a session like this was incredibly special. Photographing people you love, capturing their season of life, and freezing these fleeting moments is exactly why I do what I do. It was the perfect reminder that the best sessions are not about perfection, but about connection.
