A 46-acre refuge tucked right into a neighborhood, the Nature Center features nine ponds, 3.5 miles of trails, a fishing dock, and the kind of shade and greenery that makes outdoor sessions truly stunning. It feels like a world away from the rest of the metroplex, which is exactly why I love it for photography. The trails and pond reflections offer incredible variety in a single session.
McPherson Park
Historic + Open
One of Colleyville's most visually interesting parks, McPherson sits on land that was once a major dairy farm, and it shows in the best way. The renovated historic barns, wildflower areas, open fields, and hike and bike trails give us a remarkable range of settings. Kids love the open space here, which means relaxed, natural family energy and better photographs as a result.
