Recently, I had the privilege of photographing a beautiful in-home newborn session for a sweet family in Watauga, Texas, and it was such a lovely time.
One of the greatest joys of the session was watching baby girl's 11-year-old big brother interact with her. He absolutely adores her! Every time we finished a set of family photos, he would ask if we could take more pictures of the two of them together. Those are the moments that make my heart melt. The genuine excitement, pride, and love he has for his new role as big brother were impossible to miss.

Baby girl was an absolute dream throughout her session. She spent most of our time together peacefully sleeping and barely fussed at all. Her calm demeanor allowed us to move naturally through family portraits, sibling photos, and individual newborn images without feeling rushed or stressed.
One of my favorite parts of every newborn session is slowing down to capture all of the tiny details that change so quickly during those first few weeks of life. During this session, I was able to create several macro photographs showcasing the little features parents never want to forget:
