What I love most about photographing families and seniors in Grapevine is the variety available within just a few miles. You can go from lush, shaded botanical gardens to brick-lined historic streets to open lakeside trails without ever feeling like you are repeating yourself. Every backdrop tells a different story, and the right one for your family depends entirely on who you are and what you want to hang on your walls.

My approach to family photography is unhurried and genuinely relaxed. I guide you through the session gently, without rigid posing or a list of forced setups. What you end up with are images that look and feel like your family, captured in a place that is genuinely beautiful. That combination is what makes heirloom wall art people stop and admire for years.
Lifestyle Newborn Photography in Grapevine
Lifestyle newborn sessions take place in your Grapevine home, in the rooms and light and quiet of the place your baby will grow up. I come to you, which means no loading a newborn into a car seat, no unfamiliar studio, and no setup that feels anything other than calm and personal.
These sessions are about the details that vanish faster than anyone warns you. Tiny sleeping faces. The way your baby tucks perfectly under your chin. Siblings on their very best behavior, or not, and the laugh that comes from that. I photograph it all with care and deliver it as artwork that will mean everything to you in the years ahead.
Newborn sessions in Grapevine are best scheduled between one and three weeks after your due date. Reaching out during your second trimester gives us the best chance of securing your spot.

Grapevine is a genuinely beautiful city for maternity sessions. The lush, shaded settings at the Botanical Gardens are some of the most flattering and serene outdoor spaces in the entire metroplex for this kind of photography. The soft, diffused light under the tree canopy is especially kind during the golden hour of pregnancy when you want to feel your most beautiful.
I approach every maternity session with the same intention I bring to all my work: to create portraits that feel true to who you are right now, at this exact moment in your life. Grapevine Senior Portrait Photography
Grapevine is one of the best cities in DFW for senior portrait sessions, and the variety of locations available here is a big part of why. A senior who wants something moody and editorial will love the brick alleys and vintage architecture of Historic Main Street. A senior who prefers something natural and soft will feel right at home in the Botanical Gardens. Someone looking for open skies and a lakeside feel will find it at Rockledge Park.
We choose the location based on your senior's personality and the artwork you want to end up with. Every senior portrait session I photograph is personal, unhurried, and designed to produce images that actually look like the person in them. Not a yearbook photo. Grapevine Botanical Gardens
My Signature Location
The Grapevine Botanical Gardens is my personal favorite location in all of Grapevine, and it is easy to see why. The gardens are gorgeous in every season, full of beautifully maintained plantings, winding paths, and the kind of deep, canopy shade that makes outdoor portrait lighting genuinely dreamy. Whether you are there in the bloom of spring or the warm amber of fall, the gardens never disappoint.
The shade here is exceptional, which is a rare thing in North Texas and makes it an especially wonderful location for maternity sessions, newborn milestone sessions, and any family session where you want beautiful, soft, flattering light rather than the harsh sun you get in an open field.
Insider tip: I recommend scheduling Botanical Gardens sessions on a weeknight rather than a weekend. The gardens can get busy on Saturdays and Sundays, and a weeknight session gives us the space and quiet to create something truly beautiful without navigating around crowds.
Historic Main Street, Downtown Grapevine
Historic + Editorial
One of the most character-rich locations in the entire DFW area. Historic Main Street features a preserved log cabin, brick-lined alleyways, a charming fountain, an old theater facade, and small-town Texas architecture that photographs with tremendous warmth and depth. It is especially well suited to senior portraits and sessions with older children or teens. The buildings provide beautiful shade, so timing is more flexible here than at open-air locations.
A location I am excited to bring future clients to as I continue building my Grapevine work.
Rockledge Park
Lakeside + Open
A large public park on the shores of Grapevine Lake, Rockledge offers a completely different feel from the gardens or downtown. Bluffside picnic areas, hiking and biking trails, wooded sections, and open lakefront views give this location a spacious, adventurous quality that families with active kids tend to love. The combination of wooded trail and open water creates real variety within a single session, and the sunset views over the lake are stunning.
A location I look forward to incorporating into future Grapevine sessions.
