There’s something about fall in Texas that makes it such a wonderful time for senior portraits, and this session couldn’t have had more perfect weather!


For this Keller High School senior portrait session, we wanted a mix of meaningful locations, classic portraits, and a few personal touches that made the photos uniquely his.


We kicked things off at the high school, where we captured some portraits in front of the school’s mural. His mom specifically wanted a few photos here, and I love incorporating meaningful locations into senior sessions. These are the places that have been part of so many memories throughout high school, making them a special addition to a senior portrait collection.

From there, we headed to Town Hall for a different look. This location gave us the opportunity to create some more polished, timeless senior portraits while taking advantage of the beautiful fall light.


I love planning senior photography sessions around a variety of locations. It gives us a chance to create a gallery with different looks and styles while still keeping the session relaxed and true to the senior’s personality.

Of course, we also had to include his Forerunner! Adding a vehicle or another personal interest is a great way to make senior pictures feel more authentic. These details help tell the story of who a senior is right now, during such an exciting season of life.


With the gorgeous weather, great locations, and a little variety in the session, we were able to create a collection of portraits that felt both classic and personal.
